Like a brand new world (except its the 'old world'), I found myself lost, lost in translation. And like a man whose heart's been home, I found warmth in a home away from home.
Like an awkward situation (oh there were many), you've forced me out of my comfort zone. And like a football rookie facing the bright lights, in the crowd I find comfort of friends cheering on.
Like a moment of revelation, you've brought it home, touching the soul. And like a man born again (maybe not so extreme), I know there is wrong and I will make it right.
Like a giant serving of humble pie, you've stuffed me full. And like a man who hasn't had much lately, I think I won't need some for some time.
So this is the end and as hard as it is to believe, I am going to miss you, Deutschland.
